Before his untimely death, Mesa Police Sgt. Brandon Mendoza worked tirelessly with the community to make Guerrero Rotary Park a safer and better place for residents to enjoy. To pay tribute to his legacy, the baseball field at the park will be named for Brandon Mendoza and a fundraising campaign to continue improvements to the baseball field will be held in his honor.
