The U.S. EPA has announced that Mesa is receiving two $200,000 Brownfield Assessment grants to assess properties along the Gilbert Road Light Rail Extension route that will travel across Main Street. The grants will be used to clean and redevelop contaminated properties and boost the economy and job growth opportunities while protecting public health and the environment.
