Approximately 50 volunteers painted the house of a veteran in west Mesa as part of the City of Mesa's 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. The event was part of Love Your Block, a high-impact service strategy and partnership with HandsOn Greater Phoenix in which community members are engaged in revitalizing their neighborhoods one block at a time.
