The City of Mesa was awarded an Environmental Excellence Award of Merit from Arizona Forward for its adaptive reuse of the property at 225 E. Main St. in downtown Mesa. The award was presented at the Arizona Forward Environmental Excellence Awards banquet on Saturday, Sept. 20. Vice Mayor Chris Glover, the councilmember for District 4, accepted the award on behalf of the City.
