The Mesa Historic Preservation Board is sponsoring a Historical Fiction Writing Contest for all 4th, 5th and 6th grade students living in the City of Mesa. The essay must be a fictional story with real and imaginary characters on the life and times of the Hohokam Indian Culture or Mesa Grande Park. The contest is open until Feb. 12.
