State Farm Insurance has presented a $5,000 grant to the Mesa Fire and Medical Department's teen driving education program. Funds will be used to purchase an interactive desktop driving simulator to provide current and future teen drivers the opportunity to experience and practice various driving skills. The department began offering the teen driver safety program in cooperation with Mesa Public Schools in 1998.
