The Mesa Music Festival Nov. 10-12 features conferences and workshops for bands to get acquainted with the music industry and free live music. Performances will be at select venues on Thursday and Friday and throughout downtown all day Saturday.
On Nov. 11 participating bands will hear from keynote speaker Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Linkin Park and Arizona native. Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2005 and became the bestselling debut album of the decade. Five studio albums followed for Linkin Park.
"I'm looking forward to talking to the up and comers at the Mesa Music Festival," Chester Bennington said.
Bennington also fronts Dead By Sunrise and from 2013 - 2015 he was lead vocalist for Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington.
