The Mesa Urban Garden, 212 E. 1st Ave., broke ground on July 5 and is scheduled to open on Sept. 11. This iMesa project was embraced by US Army Cpl. Drew Trojanowski and his team who have been hitting the pavement garnering support from local and regional agencies, restaurants and businesses while preparing the layout and design for Mesa?s first downtown urban garden.
