A groundbreaking ceremony has been held for the Mesa Grande Welcoming Center. Mesa Grande, one of the largest ancient Hohokam platform mound communities in the U.S., is on the National Register of Historic Places and is an official Arizona 2012 Centennial Legacy Project.
