Mesa City Council formally approves an agreement reached with the Oakland A's. The 20-year agreement calls for the A's to train in Mesa beginning in February 2015. The A's will conduct workouts at Fitch Park and play their spring training games at Hohokam Stadium. Mesa will now host 2 teams-Chicago Cubs and Oakland A's-with updated and new stadiums, making it a premiere destination for Cactus League spring training baseball.
