District 6 Councilmember Scott Somers has joined the Arizona Department of Health Services Community Paramedicine Workgroup to help establish protocols for utilizing paramedics in healthcare roles in addition to emergency situations. Somers was asked to join the group by Will Humble, Director of Arizona Department of Health Services.
