Historical Fiction Writing Contest winners to be recognized by City of Mesa

The Mesa Historic Preservation Board has announced the winners of the Historical Fiction Writing Contest open to all 4th, 5th and 6th grade students living in Mesa. The essays were fictional stories with real and imaginary characters on a historical event in World War II at Falcon Field or Williams Air Force Base or on the history of the Mesa Grande ruins. The contest winners are being recognized at the March 3 City Council meeting. For more, visit www.mesanow.org
