Mesa has declared Friday, April 25 as Arbor Day to celebrate the City's commitment to tree care and planting programs. Arbor Day activities will include a tree planting at the new Botanical Walk at McKellips and Ellsworth Park and volunteers reading The Lorax by Dr. Seuss to third grade classes at 12 of Mesa Public Schools.
