Super Why, superhero training & more on Family Day, April 29

The i.d.e.a. Museum presents special activities, entertainment and appearances - including PBS Kids' super reader Super Why - during Family Day. The all-day event on April 29 focuses on fun family time centered around the museum's current exhibition, Caped Crusaders & Everyday Heroes.

When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017

Where: i.d.e.a. Museum, 150 W. Pepper Place, Mesa, AZ

Activities - included with museum admission - take place throughout the museum. Super Why will greet young fans from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Museum members will have exclusive time with Super Why from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Family Day is sponsored by College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors in Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee and Paradise Valley; Dignity Health Foundation-East Valley and Southwest Gas.

Museum admission is $8 for ages 1 and up; free for members. Memberships start at $55.
