National Comedy Theatre is excited to announce their move to downtown Mesa! For more than ten years they have called the Fiesta District home and they can't wait to plant new roots in the heart of Mesa's arts and entertainment community.

"We love to hang out downtown and we see the collaboration between the businesses here," NCT Director Kristina Lenz said. "There is a strong sense of community and now we get to be a part of it."

NCT's new location at 214 W. Main St. will be an intentionally designed space that can be configured for multiple uses. Along with the new location, NCT is also revamping their classes with a new improv workshop program designed to offer more options throughout the week for busy people.

"National Comedy Theater is a great addition to downtown Mesa," Mayor John Giles said. "Downtown is transforming and seeing groups like NCT choose downtown confirms that Mesa is becoming a hotspot for arts and entertainment."

Right now, NCT has live shows every Friday and Saturday night. The 7:30 p.m. showings are all ages. They plan to open their new location on Main Street later this fall.

"Downtown Mesa is growing and evolving and NCT will play a big role in that transformation," District 4 Councilmember Chris Glover said. "Bringing another entertainment option to our downtown visitors is a big plus for the area and the City."
