Mesa Mayor John Giles was joined by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Apple Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities Kristina Raspe and Site Operations Manager Damon Smith for a grand opening ceremony for Apple's Arizona Data and Global Command Center, 3740 S. Signal Butte Road.

Apple has invested $2 billion in its Global Data and Command Center, a 1.3 million square foot facility. This command center is the hub through which Apple monitors and controls the functions of all of its data centers worldwide. Apple has 1,100 employees in Arizona and supports 30,000 jobs statewide.

Apple anchors Mesa's Elliot Road Technology Corridor. The corridor was designed with all the amenities needed by companies like Apple to succeed. From high capacity power and dark fiber to easy freeway and airport access, there is no better place for new and expanding technology businesses to locate.
