Merry Main Street offers an exciting variety of holiday activities from now through Jan. 4. There are numerous opportunities to shop, eat and play!
Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest on Fridays and Saturdays through Dec.29 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Start (or end) your journey along Merry Main Street at Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest at Pioneer Park, 526 E. Main St. This is at the end of the light rail line. As part of the event, there will be a movie shown at Pioneer Park Saturday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The movie has not yet been selected.
Downtown Mesa offers more than 30 restaurants, coffee shops and bars offering a variety of choices during Merry Main Street.
Mesa Christmas Market is open Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 22 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mesa Christmas Market is a European style market on the north side of Main Street at Macdonald featuring traditional and non-traditional foods, hand-crafted items, beautiful lights and live performances near the Mesa Christmas Tree. Downtown Mesa has an eclectic offering of more than 60 stores and businesses for you to shop for Christmas gifts and other items.
Polar Express takes place Dec. 7, 8 and 15. The special light rail car will zoom down Merry Main Street giving you the chance to sing songs, enjoy cookies and, best of all, meet Santa ! Museum Discovery Night is Dec. 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Enjoy free admission to the i.d.e.a. Museum and Arizona Museum of Natural History as they join in on the holiday fun with a great opportunity to visit along your trip of enjoying all the Merry Main Street activities and holiday cheer downtown.
Merry Main Street offers the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink that will be open daily for skating under the stars, Mesa's Christmas Tree that is nearly four-stories tall, Santa's sELFie Village and free visits with Santa on Fridays and Saturdays.
