Register for Parks and Recreation spring programs

Although cooler weather prevails right now, spring will be here before you know it. Now is the time to get your kids registered for Mesa Parks and Recreation spring programs including swim lessons, lifeguard training, tennis lessons, spring break camps, adaptive sports and special interest classes. Youth Sports* programs include basketball, swimming, lacrosse and tennis. Adult Sports programs, like softball, tennis and volleyball, offer fun social activities during evenings and weekends at Mesa's award-winning sports fields. Mesa residents can register this week; non-residents can register starting Jan. 14 at 8 a.m.

Customer service staff are available to assist you in the registration process at (480) 644-PLAY (7529). The Mesa Parks and Recreation "Jump In" activity guide for the spring program includes youth sports winter leagues and clinics at http://www.mesaparks.com/sports-programs/registration.

*Fee assistance is available for Mesa residents. To qualify, residents must send in or drop off the Fee Assistance Form, along with copies of a current Eligibility Notification Letter from Mesa Public Schools Food Service Department Free or Reduced Lunch Program. Or, they can submit a copy of unemployment verification, nutrition assistance verification, WIC Assistance verification or AHCCCS verification.
