The Mesa Music Festival, happening April 18 through 20, is the premier emerging artist festival in Arizona that will begin with conferences and workshops for industry professionals and musicians, followed by two days of free live music. The festival celebrates all forms of art, especially music, and the culture of Downtown Mesa.

Now in its seventh season, the Mesa Music Festival helps artists connect with the public, other artists and industry veterans.

On April 18 and 19, participating bands will be at an afternoon music symposium to hear from industry professionals. The festival offers free one-on-one mentoring sessions on topics to include writing, recording, performing, booking, entertainment law and marketing.

April 19 and 20 will feature more than 200 performances from musical artists around the world at more than 11 stages throughout downtown Mesa. Friday and Saturday evening headliners include Des Rocs, who has toured with rock bands such as The Rolling Stones; Weathers, a nationally known alternative rock band and Grey Daze, a Phoenix-based group known for being one of the first bands of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington.

In addition to music, the festival will offer a vendor village, food and beverage trucks and beer garden. Attendees can stroll along Main Street, stopping to listen to different styles of music, discovering new musicians, shopping and enjoying food and drinks from vendors and downtown restaurants.

Mesa Music Festival is presented by Visit Mesa and Amazon. For more details on the Mesa Music Festival and to see the full list of bands, visit mesamusicfest.com.
