Mesa Music Festival connects bands with industry pros

The Mesa Music Festival, Nov. 13-15, features one day of conferences and workshops for bands to get acquainted with the music industry followed by two days of free live music.

On Nov. 13 participating bands will hear from keynote speaker Matt Pinfield, Vice President of A & R and Artist Development for Columbia Records. He is best known for his work in radio and multiple shows and specials on MTV.

The conference will also feature:

• One on one sessions with Geordie Gillespie who spent more than 15 years with the music divisions of Sony, Virgin Records and The Walt Disney Company. He has worked with acts as diverse as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams and Ricky Martin.
  
  
• Q&A session with famed manager Alan Niven who has represented bands like Guns N' Roses, Great White, M?tley Cr?e and Dokken.�
