Westbound Southern Avenue will be closed to through traffic at Country Club Drive from Thursday, June 16 through Tuesday, June 21 for the installation of a new sewer main and manhole structure. During this closure, westbound traffic on Southern Avenue will only be allowed to turn right at Country Club Drive. This work is related to the sewer improvements currently taking place on Country Club Drive from Southern Avenue to Hampton Avenue. Overall construction is scheduled to be completed in early July.
Expect delays, please allow extra travel time and use caution when approaching the intersection. Please use U.S. 60 or Broadway Road as detours or an alternate route.
In case of inclement weather or equipment breakdown, scheduled work may be delayed.
