Mesa Public Library is hosting a special Preschool Storytime, Halloween Boo at all four branches.
Trick-or-treat stations and other activities outside the libraries will bring spooky fun for all to enjoy. Halloween Boo will take place:
Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road. Councilmember Julie Spilsbury is scheduled to participate, along with staff from Falcon Field Airport and Mesa Energy Resources. Kids will be outside going from station to station to collect treats.
Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Main Library, 64 E. First St. Mayor John Giles is scheduled to participate, along with staff from Mesa Energy Resources, Mesa Neighborhood Outreach and the Mesa Family Resource Center. Kids will be outside going from station to station to collect treats.
Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Dobson Ranch Library, 2425 S. Dobson Road. Vice Mayor Francisco Heredia is scheduled to participate, along with staff from Mesa Police, Mesa Fire and Medical and Mesa Energy Resources. Kids will be outside going from station to station around the Halloween Boo Storywalk to collect treats.
Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at the new Mesa Express Library, 7045 E. Monterey Ave.
All children attending Halloween Boo will receive a coloring book from Mesas Bike and Pedestrian Program about safety as well as a book from Kids Need to Read, while supplies last.
Mesa Public Library encourages children to wear a costume and bring a treat bag to Halloween Boo.
