Water Main Break Repairs

UPDATE February 10 at 2:56 p.m.: The water main has been repaired, and road repairs are in progress. The work area is currently in the middle of the intersection and only right turns are permitted at the intersection for all traffic. The estimated time for the intersection to reopen is February 11 in the afternoon.

Water Resources crews are hard at work repairing a water main break at the intersection of N. Val Vista Dr. and E. McDowell Rd.

Traffic on Val Vista Dr. is restricted through the intersection-southbound traffic will need to turn west, and northbound traffic will be directed to turn east. One lane of eastbound and westbound traffic will remain open on McDowell Rd. Drivers should avoid the area if possible. Traffic restrictions will remain in place until road repairs are complete.
