The City of Mesa is responding to impacts from heavy rain affecting portions of the city. City crews and public safety personnel are monitoring conditions and responding as needed.
Residents should use caution while storm conditions continue and never drive through flooded roadways or moving water. Avoid washes, low-water crossings, retention basins and other areas where water is collecting.
Sandbags are available at multiple locations throughout Mesa. Locations and information are available at mesaaz.gov/storm.
CURRENT CONDITIONS (as of 5:15 p.m.)
All roads previously closed due to storm-related flooding have reopened. Drivers should continue to use caution, as standing water or other storm-related impacts may remain in some areas.
Those in need of traffic assistance are encouraged to contact 480-644-2160. Road closure information will be updated in the Mesa newsroom as it becomes available.

•Never drive through standing or moving water.
