Mesa Public Library is hosting "Donate Day," a drive-through book donation drive at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road, on Saturday Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will be available to unload donations ofbooks, magazines, movies and music directly from residents' cars.

Due to space constraints, Mesa Public Library is unable to accept donations at most library branches except on designated Donate Days. Donations are accepted at the Main Library only during regular library hours. Donors who have more than 4 file-sized boxes are asked to call ahead (480-644-3100) to arrange a drop-off time at the Main Library.

Most donated materials are put up for sale in the library's used bookstores. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the usedbooksales stay with the library to support programs and services. For more information, visitmesalibrary.org/events.
